У четвер, 14 травня, колегія суддів Вищого антикорупційного суду оголосила вирок, яким визнала винуватим колишнього депутата Волинської обласної ради у вчиненні кримінального правопорушення, передбаченого ч. 2 ст. 369-2 КК України. Йому призначено покарання у вигляді позбавлення волі строком на 3 роки 6 місяців з позбавленням права обіймати посади в органах державної влади і місцевого самоврядування строком на 3 роки.
Також до ексдупутата Волинської облради застосовано спеціальну конфіскацію грошових коштів у еквіваленті 10 000 доларів США за офіційним курсом Національного банку України на час стягнення.
До набрання вироком законної сили до вказаної особи застосовано запобіжний захід у вигляді тримання під вартою. Його негайно взято під варту в залі суду.
Вирок може бути оскаржений в апеляційному порядку впродовж тридцяти днів з дня його проголошення шляхом подання апеляційної скарги до Апеляційної палати Вищого антикорупційного суду.

A former deputy of the Volyn Regional Council has been sentenced to 3.5 years of imprisonment
On Thursday, May 14, a panel of judges of the HACC delivered a verdict finding a former deputy of the Volyn Regional Council guilty of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months of imprisonment and banned from holding positions in state authorities and local self-government bodies for a period of 3 years.
In addition, special confiscation was applied to the former deputy of the Volyn Regional Council in the amount equivalent to USD 10,000 at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine at the time of recovery.
Until the verdict enters into legal force, the preventive measure in the form of detention in custody was imposed on the said person. He was immediately taken into custody in the courtroom.
The verdict may be appealed within thirty days from the date of its pronouncement by filing an appeal with the Appeals Chamber of the HACC.
